Before going west you will visit the capital city of Latvia and the pearl of Baltic resorts – Jurmala. The rest of the time will be spent to get off-the-beaten track and explore various places reflecting the local culture and traditions of Latvians.
The amazing Rigan architecture, stress relief in Jurmala, the wild side of the Baltic Sea and local food heritage are just few things included in this 5 day Latvia tour.

Day 1
Arrival to Riga. After meeting you at the arrival point, the tour host will transfer you to the hotel.
Check-in and have some relax before going out to enjoy Riga at night-time. The evening starts with delicious welcome dinner at the locally beloved restaurant Lidojosa Varde (The Flying Frog). It’s located in a historical Art Nouveau district, which is one of the Riga travel highlights. Before starting to explore the nightlife of Old Riga let’s have a stroll around the area to see the largest collection of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe.

Day 2
After hearty breakfast you will join the Private Walking tour – Discover Riga. This 2, 5 hours long tour is planned to experience historical heritage of Latvia and local traditions. The tour starts with a visit to St. Peter’s Church and its tower where guests can enjoy a wonderful panorama view of the city. Here a local guide will introduce you with main facts about Riga. The city overview and interesting narration will let you know about other places in Riga not included in this tour – Pardaugava, Riga Port, Central Market and Mezaparks. Afterwards you will visit all major historical and culture attractions in Old Riga.
Let’s check-out and continue the trip to Jurmala – the pearl of Baltic resorts. After a stroll around main Jurmala attractions the tour host will lead you to a marvelous Light House Jurmala situated right on the white sanded beach. Here the most delicious lunch awaits you. You will have an opportunity to explore the local and international cooking traditions as the chef will prepare the dishes right in front of your eyes.
After this idyllic afternoon you will head to one of the most popular SPA hotels in Jurmala where you can enjoy numerous SPA procedures or visit the hotel’s bath complex. If you’re willing to explore the social nightlife life of Jurmala, we can recommend you to choose one of the great restaurants, clubs or grill bars mushroomed all way down the city’s promenade – Jomas Street.

Day 3
Let’s have breakfast and check out to continue the trip. Before leaving Jurmala you may have a morning stroll along the beach. Today’s destination is Liepaja – the city where the wind was born. It’s the port city located on the west coast of Latvia. On your way to Liepaja you will visit couple of ancient towns of Latvia – Sabile and Kuldiga, which is also known as the Switzerland of Kurzeme. Shortly before arriving to Liepaja you will stop for lunch and have an opportunity to taste of one the most popular and natural beer in Latvia – Uzavas beer.
On your way to the next stop you will have a short a sightseeing tour around Liepaja. Afterwards you will head to the most impressive travel object in Liepaja - Naval Port Prison. It’s the only military prison in Europe opened to travellers. Here you will join the tour around the prison and its extraordinary museum. You can take a chance to try on a gas-mask or the red tie of a young pioneer. You will be introduced with real facts about the life of prisoners once mewed up here.
Let’s finish the day with more pleasant activities – dinner in one of the restaurants of Liepaja, free time to enjoy the nightlife and good night’s sleep in Liepaja 3 * hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast let’s head back to Riga. Today you will visit couple more interesting places reflecting local traditions of our country. The first stop is Cinevilla – the only open air Film Studio in Baltics. Here the film sets consist of historical buildings and objects creating the sense of Latvia in the beginning of the 20th century. After an interesting narration about the studio you will have a chance to obtain portray in a historical style. The local Photo Studio lets you to enter the spirit of locals by the time of World War.
The next stop is local Bakery Laci, which is one of the most favored in Latvia. During an interactive tour you will be introduced with the history and traditions of local bakery.
Afterwards enjoy your lunch in the Bakery’s café. And don’t forget to visit the local shop to purchase some of organic and pure products offered here.
Return to Riga and enjoy your Riga Farewell Dinner at one of Old Riga restaurants.

Day 5
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be at your own leisure so take an opportunity to have a stroll around Old Riga.
Transfer to the departure point and saying farewells to Riga.
