70 years ago, Vilhelms Kuze, who was known as the Great Confection King and the owner of the chocolate factory ‘V. Ķuzes Sokolades Fabrika', built a villa for his family. After his deportation in 1941, his son-in-law Rudolfs Veidemanis took care of this villa. He was keen on healthy lifestyle and had a lot of experience in resort management. That's why in 1953 the sanatorium for children was established here. In the course of time, the villa and its surroundings have expanded, renovated and rebuilt. Now you can find Baltvilla Hotel here!
