Countryside tour - Local Latvian Bakery and Open Air Film Studio Cinevilla

This Latvia tour suite to escape the Riga buzz and gives you the opportunity to explore the secrets of local cuisine and culture. The tour includes an excursion around the famous local bakery Laci where you will be introduced with the process of bread baking. Afterwards you will be lead to the only Open Air Film Decoration Studio in all Baltic States – Cinevilla. Here the film sets are consisting of historical buildings and objects thus creating the sense of reality of Latvia at the beginning of the 20th century.

The tour starts with an hour long bus journey from your hotel to the most famous bakery in Latvia “Laci”. Here you will be introduced with numerous bakery facts, including some local recipes. After in-depth excursion you will have a chance to try out bakery goods – bread, cookies and pastries.

The next stop is the Open Air Film Decoration Studio – Cinevilla. Here you will be introduced with interesting facts about the Studio itself and Movie History of Latvia. After that you will have a chance to obtain portray or a group picture in a historical style. The Photo Studio lets you to enter into the spirit of locals by the time of the beginning of 20th century.
