Day 1

Arrival to Riga.  After meeting you at the arrival point, the tour host will transfer you to the hotel.
Check-in and have some rest before going out to enjoy Riga at night-time. The evening starts with delicious Welcome dinner at locally beloved restaurant Lidojosa Varde (The Flying Frog). It’s located in a historical Art Nouveau district, which is one of the Riga travel highlights. Before starting to explore the nightlife of Old Riga let’s have a stroll around the area to see the largest collection of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe.

Day 2

After hearty breakfast you will join the Private Riga Walking tour. This 2, 5 hours long tour is planned to experience historical heritage of Latvia and local traditions. The tour starts with a visit to St. Peter’s Church and its tower where guests can enjoy a wonderful panorama view of the city. Here a local guide will introduce you with main facts about Riga. The city overview and interesting narration will let you know about other places in Riga not included in this tour – Pardaugava, Riga Port, Central Market and Mezaparks. Within this tour you will visit all major historical and culture attractions in Old Riga.

Afterwards let’s check out and continue the trip to discover what’s beyond the boundaries of  Riga. The next stop is Sigulda, which is also known as the Switzerland of Vidzeme. Before starting the sightseeing let’s have lunch at one of Sigulda restaurants. Thanks to electromobiles used as a transport in the sightseeing tour you will be able to reach various nature objects, which are quite unreachable with common transport – car or bus. During this tour you will also have an opportunity to enjoy a drive with the popular Sigulda air tram.
Within this tour you will see numerous favoured travel objects of the city - Sigulda Medieval and New castles, Turaida Medieval Castle and Museum Reserve, Gutmana cave, Serpentine road and much more.

After about 3 hours long excursion you will be transferred to your accommodation. Let’s end up the day with delicious dinner with an overview to Gauja Valley.

Day 3

Let’s have breakfast and check out to continue the trip. Today you’re going to visit the north side of Latvia. The first stop is the Araisi lake dwelling site - a unique archeological object containing remains of the 9th – 10th centuries Latgallian settlement on the Island of Araisi Lake.

Further let’s head to Cesis – the medieval city of Latvia favored because of its castle ruins and amazing nature of Gauja Valley surrounded by. Here you will have a short stroll along main travel objects of the town.

After having lunch in Valmiera, which is the largest town of the historical Vidzeme region, you will head to the Valmiermuiza Beer Brewery. In 1, 5 hour long excursion you will be introduced with the history and traditions of local beer brewing.  

The final stop for today is Konu Mill situated in the very north of Latvia just 5 km from the border of Estonia. Here the owner of the Mill will introduce you with the history and traditions of local grain and wool farms. Within an interesting excursion you will have a chance to see the process of wool dressing and cultivation of grain. This is also a good chance to purchase some real Latvian souvenirs.

Let’s end up the day with delicious dinner of local food and traditional bath housing procedure, which will guarantee you a good night’s sleep in the guest house of Konu Mill.

Day 4

After breakfast let’s travel toward the Gulf of Riga. This is the day you will have a wonderful chance to enjoy the charm of the River Salaca. On the arrival to Mazsalaca you will be met by the most passionate local guide we’ve ever met. He knows everything about the River Salaca and numerous nature gifts found in the area. To feast the beauty of this place you will join a few hours long rafting tour on the River Salaca. Within this tour you will visit the picturesque SkanaisKalns Nature Park and amazing caves found on the banks of the River Salaca.  
Lunch on the raft will make the tour more enjoyable.

After this bang-up tour you will head back to Riga. On your way back you will have an opportunity to visit the wild seaside of Vidzeme and take a few fantastic shots of the sunset.

Return to Riga and enjoy your Riga Goodbye Dinner at one of Old Riga restaurants.

Day 5

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be at your own leisure so take an opportunity to have a stroll around Old Riga.

Transfer to the departure point and saying farewells to Riga.
